Yearbook Club is made up of students in 5th and 6th grades.  Students are given instruction on how to take yearbook quality photos, work with teachers to capture candid photos of students during classroom activities/school events, design yearbook pages, select a yearbook theme, assist in proofing pages ready for print and be involved in yearbook sales events. All aspects of yearbook creation and design are made available to students. 

Yearbook Photos Needed!
The Yearbook Club members design, coordinate and produce the elementary school yearbook. The Yearbook Club tries to get photos of a diverse group of students from all grades, but some grades are harder to obtain pictures than others. We will be working with Mrs. Shupp and teachers to play a more active role in taking photos for the yearbook, but we also rely on the other staff and those parents who give of their time to help with PTC events and in the classroom.  If you have taken any photos throughout the school year or even for just one event, we are interested in getting a copy of your school-related photos. 

If you have taken photos at school/PTC sponsored events are willing to share them with us, please make sure you submit high resolution, high quality photos. We prefer the photos to be sent to us as JPG files, but we have the ability to convert PNG and JIF file if needed. Photos should be clear and close enough for us to see the activity as well the face(s) of the children.

How can I submit photos?
There are 3 ways to conveniently share your photos - see our Photos Needed Flyer:
1. Upload them directly to the Yearbook eShare site at www.hjeshare.com, our school code is #16901.
2. Send them to the Yearbook Committee’s email address at skoch@bentonsd.org
3. Teachers and staff can upload photos to the yearbook club folder in Google Docs.

Yearbook Sales
Yearbooks are available to order two ways:
1. Online at www.yearbookordercenter.com school code: 16901 Online sales are open through mid-July
or
2. Pay by cash or check. Order forms are available for printing here. Checks should be made payable to Benton SD-ESYB. Cash/check sales are available through the last day of school.
